Add your user to the dialout group;
$ usermod -a -G dialout drew
Build
$ git clone https://github.com/foosel/OctoPrint.git $ cd OctoPrint $ virtualenv venv $ ./venv/bin/python setup.py install
Run
$ cd ~/OctoPrint $ venv/local/bin/octoprint
